Otes is pretty tough but I beat the others first try. There's like six mandatory Duelists you'll have to fight in the story after the tutorial to fight Goha 6.Romin, Otes, two random kids, and Yoshi.

Maybe less if you don't struggle against Otes. × It takes about three hours or so to beat Goha 6 allowing access to Deck Building via the Konami Code trick. Sorry for bumping but some more info I've found playing, basica unlock stuff. It also seems if you play with locals and add then as friends, you earn bonus rewards. Sadly some of the completion is tied to multi-player, like winning 300 local Duels lol. There seems to be a ton of stuff to unlock. Not sure how it's determined but you get about enough for one pack per duel based on what I've seen, atleast random Duels, but there's plenty of little missions that give you extra money you'll passively beat, and then you also get tickets that you can use to open a pack in exchange for increased rates. You get cards at a decent speed, about three or four when you win (and one when you lose I think?), and then packs give you five each. Especially some of the minor characters decks.like one dude gives you a Deck based around getting 1-Star monsters to the grave to summon a big boss who powers up with them, that'll be fun to experiment with. I think it's gonna be funner for me IMO to try out all the different pre-made decks. Future wins with that Deck just seem to unlock cosmetics. For example you can fight Luke and get the Dragias Deck, and then if you win with that deck in a duel you get the True Dragias Deck, which adds the Pierce! Spell.

Once you complete that Deck Recipe, if you use it again and win with it you unlock the True Version. Usually in these games you seem to get rhe shittiest cards and it takes awhile to find something workable.Īnyway the flow seems to be when you beat a new Duelist, you get their basic Deck Recipe. The first two decks you get, Yuga and Luke's, are also really fun. opponents in these games.Įvery turn is pretty exciting and there's not as much stalling against the A.I., who also seem pretty capable? Or at the very least giving them a chance to comeback through drawing mean they aren't as exploitable as they could be in past games.

Man this game is pretty fun so far.Rush Duels have such a fun flow compared to how slow the Master Rules games can be.atleast comparing Master Rules vs a.i.
